Elegy
It’s been many years since you said farewell,
From this bleak world to the blue skies above,
Even in these times past memories dwell,
Memories of us once being in love,
You were a regal man of character,
A personality always admired,
Your talents made the world a better place,
Your presence today is strongly desired,
But I notice that you have lived your life,
And nothing can become undone,
Your soul now rests in the afterlife,
To where a new pathway has begun,
